Designed for everyday living - The French Bench

Originally introduced as part of our very first Rekindle collection back in 2022, the French Bench was imagined through the lens of a traditional French farmhouse kitchen. Picture a long, well loved oak table sitting at the heart of the home, with a bench like this gently tucked alongside, always in use.

We first brought the French Bench to life in oak, a finish that speaks to the classic language of French interiors. And due to popular demand, we introduced it in American walnut as well, a richer, deeper tone that has become just as loved in its own right.

We’ve intentionally kept it slimline, not only for aesthetics, but also for versatility. Subtle curved legs soften the silhouette, adding a touch of French romance without being too ornate. This lightness in form is what allows it to move easily through the home, from dining spaces to the hallway, to the end of a bed as a well deserved feature. While it is crafted from solid timber, its refined proportions make it surprisingly easy to lift and reposition.
