Chloé Bedside Table Walnut

HER STORY

The Chloé Bedside Table is a classically inspired solid walnut bedside table, designed in Australia with a relaxed, contemporary sensibility. Drawing on the balanced proportions, gentle curves and considered detailing of traditional furniture, Chloé reinterprets these enduring influences through an Australian lens: understated, warm and designed for modern living.

Designed on the Sunshine Coast and exclusive to Rekindle, Chloé embodies our approach to Australian furniture design. Classical influences are softened and simplified, allowing the richness of natural walnut and the beauty of thoughtful proportions to take centre stage. In solid American walnut, Chloé takes on a deeper, more sophisticated character while retaining the timeless simplicity of the original design.

MATERIALS & CRAFTSMANSHIP

Chloé is crafted from 100% solid American walnut, with no MDF and no timber veneer. One of the world's most distinctive premium hardwoods, American walnut is prized for its rich brown tones, fine grain and natural variation in colour and character.

A protective satin finish enhances the natural depth of the walnut while retaining the tactile quality of real timber. Brushed brass handles provide a warm, understated contrast and a considered finishing detail.

Because Chloé is made from real solid wood, natural variations in grain, tone and texture are part of its character. No two pieces of walnut are identical, making every Chloé Bedside Table subtly unique.

STYLING & VERSATILITY

The rich tones of solid American walnut bring warmth and depth to both contemporary and classically inspired bedrooms. Chloé pairs beautifully with upholstered beds in cream, ivory and natural linen, while brass, aged bronze and matte black accents complement the deeper tones of the timber.

In light, neutral interiors, walnut provides a grounding natural element; in darker and more layered spaces, it adds warmth and richness. Its restrained detailing and balanced proportions allow Chloé to sit comfortably within traditional architecture as well as relaxed contemporary interiors.

A compact footprint and single drawer provide practical bedside storage without compromising the visual lightness of the design, making Chloé equally at home in smaller bedrooms and more generous spaces.

Our best-selling design, the Chloé Bedside Table reflects what sits at the heart of Rekindle: classically inspired Australian furniture, crafted from natural solid timber and designed to endure beyond passing trends. It is a piece to choose carefully, live with and keep for years to come.

As our pieces are crafted from solid timber, a natural and living material, subtle variations in colour, grain, and tone are to be expected. These differences occur naturally and are part of what makes each piece unique. While we take great care to represent our products as accurately as possible, no two pieces will ever be identical. These natural variations are a beautiful reminder of the individuality and character inherent in solid timber furniture.

Timber is a live material and will react to fluctuations in humidity and temperature in your home. Subtle expansion, warping or hairline cracks are a natural reaction and are considered part of its charming character. To minimise the changes to the timber, take care to not place it close to or in front of heaters or air conditioning vents. We also recommend to avoid placing your pieces in direct sunlight.
