Chloé Console Table, Walnut

HER STORY
The Chloé was designed on the Sunshine Coast with a quiet ambition: to bring the warmth and proportion of classic French provincial furniture into the contemporary Australian home, without pastiche, without fuss. Her softly curved form and considered proportions are a gentle nod to a design tradition that has always understood the relationship between beauty and everyday life. In walnut, that story takes on a quieter, more dramatic register.

MATERIALS & CRAFTSMANSHIP
Chloé is crafted from 100% solid American walnut, a premium hardwood renowned for its deep, chocolate-brown tones, fine straight grain, and extraordinary richness of colour. Unlike oak, which brightens and mellows over time, walnut is a timber that holds its depth, its darkness, its sense of gravity. No MDF, no veneer, just real, substantial timber that you can feel the moment you rest your hand on the surface. A satin finish lets the walnut's natural lustre speak for itself, and brushed brass handles offer a refined contrast that feels quietly considered rather than decorative. At 16kg, she has real presence without weight.

STYLING & VERSATILITY
The walnut Chloé pairs beautifully with upholstered beds in cream, ivory, or charcoal linen, and works particularly well alongside warm brass, aged bronze, or matte black accents. Her deeper tones bring grounding and sophistication to light, neutral rooms, while in darker, more layered interiors she adds a sense of depth and warmth. She suits a wide range of styles, from a Parisian-inflected bedroom to a warm, contemporary Australian aesthetic, and her compact silhouette means she works just as confidently in a smaller room as in a grand master suite.

The walnut Chloé is Rekindle's best-selling design, and it is easy to understand why. She is the kind of piece you choose once, carefully, and keep for ever.

As our pieces are crafted from solid timber, a natural and living material, subtle variations in colour, grain, and tone are to be expected. These differences occur naturally and are part of what makes each piece unique. While we take great care to represent our products as accurately as possible, no two pieces will ever be identical. These natural variations are a beautiful reminder of the individuality and character inherent in solid timber furniture.

Timber is a live material and will react to fluctuations in humidity and temperature in your home. Subtle expansion, warping or hairline cracks are a natural reaction and are considered part of its charming character. To minimise the changes to the timber, take care to not place it close to or in front of heaters or air conditioning vents. We also recommend to avoid placing your pieces in direct sunlight.
