Evie Bedside Table, Oak

HER STORY

Perfectly petite and elegantly balanced, the Evie Bedside Table is a classically inspired solid oak bedside table designed for smaller spaces. Her turned legs, softly rounded edges and graceful proportions draw on traditional furniture forms, reinterpreted through a relaxed Australian lens.

Designed in Australia on the Sunshine Coast, Evie reflects our approach to timeless furniture: classical influences made lighter, simpler and more suited to contemporary living. Her compact silhouette brings character and warmth to a room without overwhelming it, proving that smaller furniture can still have a strong sense of presence.

MATERIALS & CRAFTSMANSHIP

Evie is crafted from 100% solid European oak, with no MDF and no timber veneer. Valued for its strength, beautiful natural grain and warm character, European oak gives each bedside table the tactile quality and individuality of real timber.

A protective finish preserves the natural appearance and texture of the oak, allowing its grain and subtle tonal variations to remain part of the design. As with all natural solid wood furniture, variations in grain, colour and texture make every Evie subtly unique.

STYLING & VERSATILITY

Designed with smaller bedrooms and considered spaces in mind, Evie is an ideal compact bedside table where a full-sized nightstand would feel too substantial. Her petite proportions make her particularly well suited to apartment bedrooms, guest rooms and smaller spaces, while her solid timber construction gives her the presence of a much larger piece.

The natural oak finish pairs beautifully with linen, upholstered and timber beds and complements warm whites, creams, earthy neutrals and other natural materials. Turned legs and softly curved detailing give Evie a classically inspired character, while her clean proportions allow her to sit comfortably within both traditional and contemporary interiors.

Beyond the bedroom, Evie's compact footprint also allows her to work as a small solid wood side table or occasional table wherever an extra surface is needed.

Evie reflects what sits at the heart of Rekindle: classically inspired Australian furniture, crafted from natural solid timber and designed for the way we live today. Petite, practical and enduring, she is a piece designed to remain part of the home for years to come.

Timber is a live material and will react to fluctuations in humidity and temperature in your home. Subtle expansion, warping or hairline cracks are a natural reaction and are considered part of its charming character. To minimise the changes to the timber, take care to not place it close to or in front of heaters or air conditioning vents. We also recommend to avoid placing your pieces in direct sunlight.
